MODERN CANCER THERAPY INCORPORATES MANY FIELDS

Three disciplines are considered to be the pillars of tumour therapy: operative medicine and radiotherapy can treat malignant tumours there where they originate, in neighboring lymph nodes, or in the case of metastases, even in the affected organs. With its wide range of treatments, Internal medicine provides a supporting function in the therapy of cancer of solid organs.

These fields are involved in a variety of combinations for the treatment of cancerous illnesses. In order to achieve an optimal treatment result, the coordination of the processes between the treatment partners is of key significance.

As a radiotherapy practice, we assume a central function as care provider. Our catchment area ranges from Bad Säckingen in the West to Lindau in the East; from the Swiss border in the South on to Tuttlingen in the North. As a result, we work together with a wide range of colleagues in hospitals and practices. Only the clearly structured network, supported by personal contacts, enables planning and implementation of optimal treatment for each individual patient. On the following pages, we present some of the facilities that are particularly important to us to coordinate the therapy.
